PARENTS: Today we will need the Parts of a Plant worksheet.

Please have that worksheet ready along with a pair of scissors and a glue stick. If your child is too young to cut out the labels, they may need your help. Pink and Blue Level words are at the bottom of the page if you would like to print them ahead of time and have your child trace them during the lesson today. Many of the children can write the words on their own.

Today we will be dissecting a flower and learning about the parts of a plant/flower. We will be working on the Parts of a Plant worksheet, so please print it for today (see link above). We will be cutting out the labels for the parts of a flower and then gluing them on the worksheet.

We will also be dissecting a flower.
